The Egerton had a lot going for it. The room felt very clean with excellent facilities. I loved the Nespresso machine and real fresh milk for my coffee. Cozy decor added a nice touch. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help. I didn't notice much traffic noise, which was a pleasant surprise. I faced a minor issue with limited tea bags provided in the room. Having just two tea bags felt a bit stingy for a place like this. Bathroom could use an update. the fixtures seem quite old-fashioned. I had a good stay but think they could improve in some areas.

The shower was powerful and the bathroom quirky.
The old windows let in quite a draft from the outside.

The location was fantastic for exploring the surrounding area, with ample parking available. The room offered a comfortable stay, complete with tea/coffee making facilities. however, the nearby pub could have more options for the menu. The standout aspect of the experience was Stacey’s exceptional hospitality, including a lift into town when transportation was tricky. While breakfast wasn’t included, the overall value for money and service provided left a lasting impression.

A Delightful Stay with Cozy Dining!
During my one-night solo adventure, I savored every moment. The cozy standard double room offered a restful retreat, while the delicious meals at the on-site restaurant were unforgettable. Just a heads-up, the Wi-Fi required frequent logins, so be prepared to manage that!
